It all started when…
Co-Founder Emma Burke was asked to guest host PE classes at St. Thomas Moore Elementary School as a way for kids to learn about different types of ways to be fit. The kids had a BLAST and so did Ms. Emma! From there, we have expanded our program to include cultural elements and education, and have had the honor of being asked to work with lots of different Atlanta area schools, including:
Springdale Park (SPARK) Elementary School
Morningside Elementary School
Lovett
Christ The King Catholic School
St. Thomas Moore Catholic School
Teasley Elementary School
And many others!
What we do:
At each class, we learn about the Country of Ireland & Irish Dance. This includes where Ireland is located, and learning the history & stories of the main symbols attributed to Ireland. Students also learn to count in Gaelic.
We then introduce them to Irish dance, show them our costumes & dance shoes. We get them up & and invite them to learn the Irish Jig! Students leave with coloring pages that review the concepts we have learned at the class.

Our program is suited for Kindergarten - Grade 2. Pre-K options available upon request.
