How to Practice:

1. Warmup (2 options):

OPTION 1: Mr. Liam's Warmup + the "Kick Drills"

OPTION 2:  The Quickstart: 8x High Knees, 8x Pointed bump kicks, 8x bum jumps with a REPEAT +  the "Kick Drills"

2. Dance your Lead & Middle steps together (If you make a mistake, start again!)

Write down 3 things to drill from these steps. (Tip 1: Drill should be about 2 bars. 4 bars okay when 2 bar drills are perfected) (Tip 2: transitions are also good drills!)

Put on a new song. Dance Drill #1 for the entire song, resting 2-4 bars between each.  Drill right & Left foot.

Put on a new song. Dance Drill #2 for the entire song, resting 2-4 bars between each.  Drill right & Left foot.

Put on a new song. Dance Drill #3 for the entire song, resting 2-4 bars between each.  Drill right & Left foot.

3. Dance your Middle & Last steps together (If you make a mistake, start again!)

Write down 3 things to drill from these steps.

Put on a new song. Dance Drill #1 for the entire song, resting 2-4 bars between each.  Drill right & Left foot.

Put on a new song. Dance Drill #2 for the entire song, resting 2-4 bars between each.  Drill right & Left foot.

Put on a new song. Dance Drill #3 for the entire song, resting 2-4 bars between each.  Drill right & Left foot.

4. All The Way Through x 4 TIMES.  Rest 16 bars between each set.  Push yourself!  This will be hard. 

5.  Repeat numbers 2-4 with your next dance (Eg. if you did your hornpipe above, choose set or reel). 

6. End with our Stretch Sequence (45 seconds -1 minute each stretch) & our Arch Work Sequence.

7. Hi-Five yourself, Hydrate, and Eat Well!  Great job today!
