At Burke Connolly, we are proud to offer students of EVERY level the opportunity to get on stage and shine!
Our performance program is strong and growing every year! Each Session, we have a major performance that we work towards, in addition to other smaller shows!
Beginner through Champion Students are encourage to join in as many as they want!
FAQ about Performances
What if we don't have a costume yet?
No Problem! Our "go to" for a pre-costume for Boys is a long sleeved, black dress shirt, black pants & black dress socks!
Our Girls pre-costume is a Black, long sleeved mock-neck leotard and a basic black opaque skirt that hits 3-4" above the knee. No sheer skirts.
We have a few extra capes with our BC logo that we bring for dancers who do't have a costume yet, so they can feel like they are part of the team! They are first come first served :)
My child JUST started...Is he/she really ready to get on stage?
Possibly! If your child knows ONE step in either Light Jig or Reel they are all set! We will make sure they have their moment to shine & feel confident doing it!
Dancers of all levels perform at our shows. The audiences are wowed by our champion dancers, but they LOVE to see the little ones get out there and show their stuff! In fact-they tend to get the biggest cheers!
My child wants to perform-- What do I do now?
Easy! We use "SignUp Genius" for all of our shows. Look for the link in our emails to sign up. You'll create an account and then sign your child up for the show so we know how many dancers and at what levels to expect!
How do I know what performances are available?
We send out weekly emails with upcoming events for the month/week. Take a minute to read through each one so you don't miss any exciting events!
How do I know where to go?
Inside the signup Genius for each event are all the details you need for the event. We will tell you location, arrival time, performance time, parking information, and more! If information is not listed, we will add it AND email you prior to the performance. (Some venues are late getting us informaiton).
Life is crazy busy-- Do you send a reminder?
Yes! All students who sign up for an event will get a reminder 2 days before the show!
